Amazing hotel with excellent service and location! Got the wizard room and it was truly beautiful. The breakfast was an absolute delight with the choice of a menu and the small buffet. The service was impeccable, they attended to small details that made our trip and stay smoother. The location was also excellent, less than a 10min walk to Victoria station and we could go to Euston and LGW directly from there. I would 100% recommend this hotel, it was like staying in a Fairmont but at a really reasonable price.
We had a great experience staying at the Georgian House! The room (although not huge) was pretty and very clean! The housekeeping team did a great job keeping it up while we were there. The breakfast was good and the service was very nice! At one point, our room was warm so we requested a fan - and were brought two! We would stay here again! (One thing to note is that it's about a 12 minute walk to the Underground.)
Absolutely fantastic hotel , we booked the wizard chambers and the wizards afternoon tea , with our stay including breakfast The staff are absolutely amazing , friendly and helpful The room was through a secret bookcase ! The attention to small detail and little gifts made the stay absolutely magical, the breakfast was fresh and delicious with a great selection We later returned for the wizards afternoon tea which again did not disappoint, the small little details made it so much fun and all of the food was fresh and delicious If you are looking for a magical wizard get away I would highly recommend a stay here
I arrived with my family, and we were treated like VIP's. We were asked just to wait a few minutes in the lounge, then we were lead through a secret bookcase down the candle lit stairs into a Harry Potter themes room.Both my daughters immediately loved it. The staff were very good and happy. The beds were so comfortable and both my daughter had great sleeps. The breakfast was good and more than enough.
Booked two rooms for three nights. The location is perfect. Quiet neighborhood and very easy to get around town by Taxi. Several good restaurants within walking distance. All the workers at the front desk were always friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and serviced everyday. Enjoyed the historic nature of the building, although it does mean the rooms can be a bit noisy as the floorboards creak when people in the room above you move around. We enjoyed breakfast each morning, which was of great quality. I would stay here again in the future, although would try and secure a top floor room to avoid the possibility of a noisy guest above you. The lack of a lift was not a problem for us. The gentleman working the front desk at check in helped carry one of our bags up. Overall great experience.
Great little hotel. Very quiet, attentive staff that even had mulled wine in the lobby. Note tho, there is no elevator. They will take your luggage up and down but it could be hard for some people.
I have stayed here 3 times on business and it is a very convenient and quirky guest house (rather than hotel). The rooms are all quite unique and differently sized but this is not a high end hotel, so i would recommend staying when the prices are lower/through a deal. The service is friendly and helpful, though it can be slow as there has only ever been one person at the desk (and it is not always obvious they are staff!). I don’t know about the HP references, as clearly it is “wizard themed” but not associated directly with the famous Warner Bros films. I stayed in a Wizard Room and it just a quaint room decorated with a few ‘magic’ themed trinkets (it was perfectly comfortable). Location-wise it is very close to Victoria and a short walk to Pimlico tube, so good for tourists. I found my rooms to be clean and comfortable and will be returning again.
Booked a little last minute as not sure if in London one or two nights. Paid for a triple, double for mum and single for me. Room was made up as double. Raised the issue and it was dealt with quickly and satisfactorily so well done reception and house keeping! Bed comfy, tea/coffee/biscuits good. Shower good for mum, ok for me...think the water tank was low (but hot again when back). Room fine...but it is an old, traditional house/hotel so no lift and some slightly worn stairs. Breakfast very good (we had continental but cooked looked and smelt good going by). Very convenient for Vic Station and Vic Bus depot. Little pricey but I was last minute.
